Check the end of the thread for the latest LLL.in drops. Current full available lists are posted intermittently by members, and the most current would be toward the end of the thread also. Otherwise, user Chandan often has an updated available list on his external site, here: Available LLL.in Domains list - Indian Blogs

You may have a point, but are you saying from experience? Also are referring to .in domains or .com domains?

I have experience trying to get a script for other ccTLDs and talking to many people who knew more than me. Anyone with a script would tell you the same thing I did.

Obviously there are companies going after .coms and other TLDs and they haven't honed in on .in and some other ccTLDs (yet). Getting a script and trying to get a .com is POINTLESS. And at this point, trying to find a good script and go up against the guys already getting India domains is pretty pointless too.

I guarantee you that most guys with scripts catching India domains have mulitple computers, multiple accounts, and multiple scripts. And it's obvious at least one person (ahem, Meditang) has access to the zone files SHOWING ALL .ins and .co.ins dropping.

As far as I know the .IN Registry doesn't provide any zone files. :hehe:

I'm also interested to know how people find expiring .in domains. Can anyone help please?

Thanx repped. You have strengthened my theory about scripts.

It is very simply, but is needed specific knowledge in programming.

I have spent time trying to figure out if .IN registry provides access to zone files for a charge. Not figured out anything so far. Would love to hear more about it if anybody has specific info.

Thanks.

Vincente, after your message the other day I did some digging around - and of course, you're right the zone file should never be released to individuals. If someone is having access to the zone file then it is either because they or someone they know works for the main registry.

As far I know I don't think its possible to get the zone file just by being a reseller. Access is more likely limited to those that work within the main registry.

I don't know where meditang gets his info/lists from or how... Vincente's suggestion that it is via a zone file could be true, but we don't really know for sure. And, at the end of the day its up to meditang to comment on that if he wants.

I totally agree about the scripts and it makes perfect sense what Vincente is saying. I've spent a good few months looking around for scripts and have come to the same conclusion. People who have custom made scripts, are not willing to share them - and those that are willing to share want a high price without the possibility of being able to test it out.

I'm trying something out at the moment, it was given to me as a gift - although after 3 attempts I've managed to get ... nothing. SO we'll see how it goes.

I can vouch for Meditang that he doesn't use any script. People who use scripts have a typical signature to catch domains.
