I agree with you that the indian aftermarket and end user demand is weak, but its not getting any weaker. It will only get stronger from this point on IMO. LLL.ins are experiencing reducing supply while demand will only increase, so prices must surely increase. As for crappy LLL combinations, well those don't do great in most extensions, so i wouldn't worry too much about those..

Net registered LLL.in appear pretty stable. That is, the amount of drops has been equal to new registrations for the last few months. The downside is that the net registrations has not increased. The upside is that the number of different registrants is larger now than three months ago. Of course, the .in registry continues to destabilize the cctld with their handling of dispute resolutions.

Hi guys, I tried to reg a few new .in and .co.in since the promo is still going.

But if I choose to register them for 2 years or more , the check out shows normal pricing.

Is that correct or there is some Registrar allowing multiple years registration at about $2 or $3 per year?

it is correct.. promo pricing is for new ONE year registrations too. after that u'l be charged the normal pricing..
