Server troubles?

I don't mean to sound rude or anything, but NamePros is a often down or very slow for me. It's rare when it's performing nicely and the pages are loading nicely.

Maybe it would be good for the forum to upgrade the server(s) you have, or get anotherone to spread the load?

Just a suggestion.

I think it must be the backup as it was slow about an hour ago.

Yup this morning as soon as RJ woke up, he did a full back up, but I have never had a problem where it loads slow always under a second loading time, never over, but i am on a T1 so that could be the diff.

so I doubt RJ is doing a backup every time he tries to get to NP

Is it just me or is this getting worse? I'm not talking about backup times either, just generally.

Sometimes the front page just doesn't want to load, it just took 24 seconds to load just now. Other times it's 6 seconds or 13 seconds.

On other pages sometimes the header loads but the rest of the page doesn't for 20-30 seconds. It's the only site I'm having these problems with too.

Try clearing your cookies, files(on and offline), and your history. It was loading slowerer than dialup a few days ago to I did this and restarted my computer. It now is loading very fast!

I just tried a whole new Firefox profile and it still took 19 seconds. IE is the same.

Maybe it's a signal from above, telling me to stop spending so much time on NP and to go outside!

It has loaded very slowly for me in the past quite often.

I'm on a 5mb connection. I have noticed since this thread opened that the speed has been blazing fast though :hehe:
