Server help

Me and 2 friends have a windows 2003 running plesk 8.1, how do we set a dns zone(nameservers) so we can run a site from the server.

The server has 3 ip's, 2 of which I have used on my registrar to register ns1 and ns2 nameservers for my domain.

In plesk there are already ns1 and ns2, along with ptr, cname etc, I then set my domain to the nameservers created but nothing shows...

Any ideas on how to get this to work please.

don't you think that was my 1st port of call, seeing as the server is unmanaged they don't support this, please check before replying it saves a lot of wasted time.

WHy Windows and Plesk? Sorry, i could have helped you, but 'm only expert in Linux/cPanel server management.

Try web hosting companies nameserver setup guides. Their information is usually available to the public, just google the right terms.

my 2 other partners wanted windows, not sure why, I have followed the guides for plesk but it doesn't seem to work for some reason...

Did you declare hosts NS1, NS2 for your domain at your registrar ?
What are the domains ? You also check your domain at dnsstuff.com

I just had the worst thing happen to me. My server was down for like 4 days. Talk about some horrible news. Imagine what I went through. Search around and you can get some great server deals.
