What do you think, is this a good catch for a negotiated reg fee of $ 250/year? It will be developed in a TV series portal site before the end of this year. Thanks for all your input, John.

Michigan.tv is $25,000 a year California.tv a much bigger state is $15,000.

I lucked out got LCD.tv I got SIX.tv also with ovt with ext 232, 60 to 70 type ins a day.
The prices are indeed sometimes strange, See.tv was originally listed for 1,500, while a similar name like watch.tv is listed at 500,000, makes no sense to me. Like you say, it really helps to play around with the names and prices at .tv corp.

Lcd.tv and Six.tv are really nice ones you got there :gn:

I like the name, not too sure if I like the price per year, but keep in mind I don't believe that would be something you'd have to disclose to the buyer. It might not be immediately evident that Series.tv would be a "premium" .tv name that Verisign charges more for.

As far as what's left, I have to say that there's a particular adult one that's $1,000/yr that's really really tempting, as I think I could sell it for 5-figures. Still, what happens if I don't sell it? Expensive chance to take, yikes.

Crooky.

Hi Crooky, you can always try to negotiate with them, just send an e-mail to sales. I know it looks like you can not negotiate prices up to 1,000, but I even negotiated 500/year ones with succes. I am not sure if it is still possible, but it does not hurt trying :p

Interesting...I may try that then. What WAS Series.tv then per year before you negotiated it?

Edit: I emailed their premium sales asking if the one I want can be negotiated down. Heck, it's right at $1,000...they should have a heart and allow it to be negotiated!

Ty John for your comments on LCD and SIX

Good luck Crooky I think you can get them down a little.

Remember when you buy at www TV it is two years not 1. You only have to Pay 1 year but you are agreeing to a two year registration.

It was also 1,000, but I registered a couple of names and got a unusual 75% discount on 2 of them, one being series. Although a discount of 30 to 60% is not very uncommon there.
