Hi gang,

I've been on this forum for quite a while and I've had websites built and taken down, all because there were no customers coming in.

After much pain and learning from mistakes (and still making them), I thought I'd have a crack at reselling hosting and selling domains etc via WWD. I just purchased the domain SwiftWebHosting.com and redirected this to my templated reseller site https://www.securepaynet.net/gdshop/rhp/default.asp?prog_id=424071
for now.

I also redirected another domain called SiteHostKing.com to my reseller store. Then I submitted my domains to 300 SE's via ineedhits.com (which I think are good but opinions would be appreciated).

Is what I did correct even though I don't have websites for the domains yet? I know I should have websites (entry pages at least to direct to my reseller store). This is when I can do some work on my Meta Tags and Keywords etc.

What can you suggest for me to drive a good customer flow to my site? Any enhancements to what I'm doing would be appreciated.

Cheers!

Paying for search engine submissions is a mistake on it's own but not even having functioning websites was a even bigger mistake ;)

You don't need to pay for search engine submissions, search engines will find you on their own.

Of course you do need a couple of good links to get some attention and for that money you had spend you would be better of paying for a PR 5 link for a month or so that will get your site noticed and indexed in a very short time frame.

I thought I'd have a crack at reselling hosting and selling domains etc via WWD.

Why not something else?
I don't get the impression that this is a must need to do for you type of project and your objective is to create some revenue.

You do realize you're diving into a serious competitive market?

It would be much rewarding for you to pick a niche market/subject and have a crack at that, because then surely you'll be having more chance to achieve what you have in mind...to build something that creates residual revenue for you...that is what you would like to achieve right?

Should you have any questions feel free to ask :talk: me or others will surely be able to help you out.

Hey Damion...thanks a million for your input, much appreciated.

Your news is somewhat disheartening in a way as I thought this would be a good way to generate a modest 200-500pm..that's all! But you're right...just looking at the keywords like "web hosting" there are nutters paying big money just for that click. I may have to work on my SEO campaign and segment each page for what it is and market each page/product for those specific keywords (on GoogleAds). I'm also working on looking for a site that generates backlinks for money. If you know any goodplaces please let me know.

I really don't know what I'm doing except for the things I've picked up on. No help whatsoever! But people like you are a gem! Thanks mate!

What can I do for this site to make it better?

Cheers!

Damion is right; having to pay for search engine submissions is wrong. At least use Google Webmaster Tools or a similar product. Just monitor how search engines see your site (try Lynx) and fix what they see wrong.

On a different note, your site looks very similar to DomainRightNow...
