Hello, I bought this domain a couple days ago. I was going to start a pixel ad site but now I am thinking of backing off it. I thought it was a pretty clever domain name, please tell me what you think.

I have already received a $3,000 bid for it.

I assume you're trying to do the milliondallorhomepage thing? Where the guy sold a milion pixels each for $1.

If you could pull that off, then you'd obviously make a hefty payout, but $3,000 would be a nice quick payout IMO.

I dont understand why people are making more and more pixel sites, this pixel mania is already very outdated imo. Believe me, 3k$ for that domain is 1000x more than i would imagine it would go for. Take that money and invest it in a clever way...

The person that bid the $3,000 was a domain broker with tons of domains in stock.

I understand that you all want me to take the offer, it is obvious that it is a good idea to take the offer, which I already have not. But could you all give me an apraisal of what I could get here at NamePros and/or somewhere else incase some problems go on with the domain broker I contacted.

Based on all our replies here the consensus is to TAKE THE MONEY!!!Exclamation pointssssssss, end of story.

Most people here seem to be VERY much in agreement that the idea has already run its course and this is NOT a good indication that you might get anywhere near that amount on NP.

The longer you wait to accept the offer, the more time the buyer has to think about it and:

a) Find another domain name he will be equally happy with that might just be available for reg fee or at least less than 3 grand.
or
b) Discover this forum and realize his mistake.

Yes, it is conceivable that the buyer may actually end up making big bucks with the domain but it will be more because he works his butt off promoting it in some way and not specifically because of the "catchy" domain name (again, see item "a" above).

Most people would appraise it at $xx or less.
