What does everybody here use for selling names at a BIN? I like the DomainNameSales "Buy it now" template, but they automatically charge a 20% commission for all BIN sales (even if you assign yourself as the exclusive broker). The Sedo one looks OK.

I know I can make a custom template but don't want to host certain domains on my servers for privacy reasons. Are there parking providers that will allow you to close a deal at BIN without charging commissions?

I'm not sure there are any parking companies which will that will enter into a domain sale at BIN and won't charge you any commission. What incentive is there for them to develop the software to handle this?

First add those domains you want to sell for fixed price at escrow.com ecart,

then choose parking service like voodoo.com, they have option such sale type as redirection. add those ecart link at redirection,

then buyer click domain sales link it will redirect to escrow.com domain name buy it now page.

@DNBro - Sounds great. I think I'll try it at least, to get the mechanics down. Although I'm not a big fan of BIN pricing. Too much trouble to keep updating them. Also lacks flexibility. At present I send these inquiries to my make offer email link. So this should not be too hard to achieve. Do you have any good links on instructions on how to use the Escrow.com eCart System? Have you actually done this? Is there any parking company which doesn't support this?

I prefer to keep bin price for most of the domains and already using ecart option for more than 30% of my domains (previously those domains are with sedo fixed price).

haven't found any instruction link to add ecart, but it is really easy.

login to escrow.com then click on Buy it now buttons -> then Create Buttons -> then add details -> click Add line item to list -> then click Create Express Cart Button. then it will generate unique link.

Copy link and paste for redirection at parking page or create domain landing page and use a link option to ecart page.

When does DomainNameSales.com start charging 20% for BIN offers?

Is there a sample BIN sales template of DomainNameSales.com to see? I want to see what you like about it. :)

It's not the landing template which is so great. I think Efty's is better. It's their doggedness with handling the inquiry.

@stub, I think Bodis has escrow.com integration and doesn't charge commission.

You can also try 4.cn and make a custom template.

That's correct. One of our sale options includes an API interface with Escrow.com which initiates a sale transaction with the potential buyer, once they've submitted a form.

We don't charge any additional fees for using this service.

Thanks.

I have ( in the past ) integrated the escrow buy it now option into a website where I had my domains displayed and all forwarded to the website. Worked well for me but I also found that I would still receive inquiries from potential buyers looking to get a lower price that my BIN, typically I would not respond to the inquiries unless the offer was within 30% of my asking price. I know that buydomains.com will reduce most domain buy it now prices by up to 25%

I sold the site I had built and currently all names are forwarding to flippa auction pages. So far so good. Flippas commissions are 10% but I get more exposure than just type ins landing on the page. Their free escrow service is nice too. I've sold over $10,000 worth of names since selling my old site.

Well. I stand corrected. Apparently Bodis do this (@Troy) and there are ways around this (@DNBro)

Anyone can confirm that DomainNameSales.com is charing 20% for BIN sales, even when the name is set to self-broker?

At self brokerage I think it's free.... I am currently dealing with a broker for a sale and their commission is 15%
