I regged avianinfluenza.org a little over two years ago when avian influenza started to be in the news. I really started developing it around September of this year figuring that developed names are always worth more then non-developed ones, even if they are premium keywords.
Since Sept. we have managed to get a few good backlinks and some good content so we average around 500+ uniques a day if we don't advertize on yahoo, google etc. 4000+ if we do. My question is this, we are starting to get people contacting us now that want the domain, for obvious reasons and we were considering selling it for $100,000+
However since the disease seems to be spreading pretty fast in Europe, wouldn't it be wiser just to hold onto the name and develop it further in the hopes of getting a better sale price?
I would think, especially if it starts hitting the US, that it's value would at the very least trebble. Really just looking for some constructive opinions here.
