I just redesigned my boyfriend's website. I am new to web designing. There are some picture format and link problems but as an over all what do you guys think ?

Hmm, It's too dark for a portfolio type of site. The theme really throws me off. Maybe stick to standard web fonts? Needs more graphics control. Maybe even center the layout box for this type of design. Overall, if you are looking to run a business on this site, needs to be more professional. Also, you can easily accomplish this layout with CSS, which will reduce the load time greatly.

I also think that the site needs some graphics maybe a banner will be a good start. The link on mouse over is a bit dark why not try a background change on the link as well and as the last message says you could try the layout in the center

Thanks for all of your guys answers. I chose to use black as the name of the company is "nyte"shore. however I agree that it is too dark.
What do you think about the top banner?
Where could I find any info + tutorial on CSS?

Awsome design, but just a little too dark. The sidebar links, when hover'd over, need to light up so you can see them. The banner is overall, cool! Love the blue borders!

Have to agree on about it being to dark, also the rollover state of the buttons should be changed to something more distiguslable.

i think pretty much all agree on the black - its gotta go. i renders your site as first impression, either as a hacker site or adult site (especially with slow loading times). Try a lighter shade of grey and center your tables to the page. Maybe also add a few graphics to draw some attention.

Its a good start but needs some work. You're on the right track
