Hello,
So I had a few domains, which I regged myself (i.e. no preexisting traffic), parked on sedo. As expected, traffic was practically non existent - in two months most received zero unique hits, a few got a couple and one got 10 hits (total of 2 months).
Just for kicks, two days ago I forwarded these domains to relevant clickbank products (using my affiliate id). So for eg if the domain name was related to medical condition X, i forwarded it to an ebook about this medical condition with my aff id.
I checked the analytics for clickbank today and found out that all of them received a couple of 'hops' and the one for which i had received 10 'uniques' on sedo during the last 2 months, had received 36 hops on clickbank in two days.
Can one enlighten me here? Was sedo under-counting visits or is clickbank over counting them?
N.B the hops dont come from myself checking the pages as I only checked that two were forwarded and that's it. So they can't be my own visits.
Thanks
