Hello

I have been parking my domains with sedo

so now i want to develop it.

I deleted it from Sedo,
Changed the DNS to my host

but when i goto my domain, it will still show Sedo parking and say
Are you the owner of this domain and want to know why this page looks different than your other parked domains? Please click here...

WHen i click it, it says i have correctly pointed the DNS setting to Sedo and that i have deleted it from my sedo cpanel (which i did)

But i have pointed the DNS setting to my host. Not sedo anymore
I changed it 3 days ago

I thought it needs a few hours to update.
what did i miss here?

Thanks

If your page is showed as you say, your DNS are still ns1.sedoparking.com and ns2.sedoparking.com.

Try to set them again - and if it doesn't work, contact the customer support of your registrar.

You don't mention the name, but in selling a domain through escrow, I once had trouble updating a .info domain. I changed the domain whois info to the buyer, but it would never update with the master registry, only in the registrar contrl panel. The buyer was in Hungary, so I left the city, state, zip blank becuase there was none. Once support suggested I put something in those lines, it updated in a few hours. If I remember correctly, I think it was Enom, but it may have been the API between them and the registry that rejected (supposedly) incomplete whois data.

Worth a try...

One of my names is also taking some time for the dns to update, it was also parked at sedo. What alarmed me was that instead of going to my parking page where I earn per click it was redirected to sedos home page :(

A few other people have had this same problem where their parked names led to sedos home page.

Even thou you cleared your cache, Your ISP maybe slow at doing so. Try asking a friend to check the domain and see what they are seeing. :)
