I have been trying on and off for the last few hours now to make a payment at Sedo and it's refusing to go through! I've tried two different Visa debit cards, both which have more than enough to cover my balance and it just won't go through!! >:(

This is now the second purchase I'm having this very same problem with. Is anyone else having problems?

Thanks cbsort, but I found out the first time this happened that contacting admin is a joke. The first time was for an actual auction I had one won and the guy I spoke to not only didn't care, but offered no advice or help in getting my problem solved. You would THINK they'd want to help out customers who want to pay for their auctions promptly! 4 or 5 days after I won the auction my card information suddenly, magically went through and I was able to pay for my name.

This time it was just for one of their featured listings. I just tried again and I'm still getting the message saying my payment didn't go through, check to make sure I entered everything correctly. Forget it, I'm going with Afternic.

I never had problems buying or selling to sedo
Their ticket support system is better now (takes max 2 days to get a reply) than it was before

Update: So I decided to torture myself and give Sedo a call. The lady on the phone tells me that in order to pay for my purchase I will first have to wait for some kind of certification email to be sent to me, fill that out, send it back and then their finance dept. will manually put my information into the system...What????

I'm totally freaking confused, my very first purchase with them (a name won at auction) took DAYS to magically and mysteriously let my payment info go through. My next two purchases were for Featured Listings and I had no problem whatsoever with my payment details not going through, it was automatic, done...Now suddenly I seem not only to be back to square one, but I'm also going to have to jump through hoops just to pay for a freaking $60 Featured Listing charge?? Talk about inconsistency!!

I'm a legitimate buyer with a legitimate card AND the only one who seems to be having this problem. Obviously my business is not wanted.

Well I say Sedo can &$#)*%!!....Interpret this last statement any way you want! >:( >:(

Updated Update: Just received their email, not only do I have to fill out their form, but I also have to send a photo copy of my credit card and picture ID!!! WATCH ME!!!!!! This is absolutely insane, I've made LEGITIMATE purchases in the past and now I'm suddenly a criminal...yeah OK!!

Frustrated with Sedo? Get used to it.

Haven't had this particular problem before, seems completely ridiculous though and is actually compromising your privacy by sending your personal information in an insecure format.

If I had a dollar for every time Sedo pissed me off I could buy private jet to fly to my private island to vacation in my mansion and build a fire on the beach using $100 bills and keep that fire lit for the rest of my life.
