What do you think of appraisals from Sedo.com?

Are they realistic?

Let's discuss.

I bought an appraisal from Sedo once, I'm not sure if they are realistic but they sure are thorough! It would seem like they have done quite a fair bit of research before doing the actual valuation.

I have attached a copy of the appraisal they did for me, just to give an idea to anyone who's thinking of engaging them.

:)

I am only NEW around but quickly learnt that the value is in the buyer

I have been quoted reg fee an $600 in the same day for the same site.

There are some GOOD guys here and some peeps who know shite :xf.love:

That's true. It's impossible for any appraisal to be 100% accurate. If you are really serious about getting a valuable domain appraised accurately, you might want to try getting several professional appraisals, then average out the reasonable (mid to low level) ones, and cut that number in half (since appraisals are nearly always overly optimistic). In most cases, doing that will get you a somewhat accurate (but by no means foolproof) value.
