Hi!

I won a domain at TDNAM recently, I made the payment as usual through the GD payment system. But unlike other times where I've won a domain through them... this time I get an email from a non godaddy email... asking that I send them my username and email to complete the transaction.

I've never had this happen before. All the transactions / pushes have always been dealt with by godaddy - automatically... I've never had to supply my personal info to someone else, so this made a little suspicious.

Does anyone know about this or experienced something similar? Is this normal?

It was a TDNAM "Buy Now" domain - which was also marked (at checkout) as "Purchase guaranteed" or something like that.

Most likely what happenned is that you purchased a name that was for sale by someone on TDNAM, rather than buying an expired name directly from them. They blend these listings together. Login to TDNAM, click on the text link on the right that says "Won". Now find the auction you won. Where it says "Yours on", if it says *Email Seller for Details" and has a link to email the seller, than you simply bought a non-expired listing and you need to proceed as a transaction between you and the seller. If it is a normal expired listing, you should contact TDNAM imediately and tell them what happenned.
