OK folks, this one is not easy to post. We've owned and operated SearchEngine.com profitably since the 1990's. We've received solid 7 digit offers for the domain - most recently in 2014. But, we also develop proprietary search engine algorithms that we license to other firms to enhance their results.
Since we are in the final stages of development for a brand new version of our search engine technology, I've got a conundrum to deal with... Do we launch our new B2B software on this premium domain or, do we sell SEARCHengine.com to someone who is in a position to leverage a strong, brandable domain that defines the genre?
We still own 15+ other brandable, search related domains. But, SEARCHengine.com is the king and IMHO he's currently not living up to his full potential.
Your thoughts appreciated.
PS. Yes, the 7 digit offers we received thus far did not meet our minimum since we can continue running the site's affiliate and advertising programs profitably with minimal effort. My reason for posting is to identify someone willing to take this domain to the next level and do something great with it. Something that benefits humanity and offers significant value to us all. Any takers?
