Search Directories

Im sure most of you people already know about the Yahoo Directory and Dmoz.org, but please keep in mind that there are many other directories you are able to list your site on as well which could also help visibility of your site. Some directories I know of off the top of my head is joeant.com, illumirate.com, goguides.com, and there are many others you can check out. Search engines are not the only way to find sites these days. Have anyone else submitted to the directories ive mentioned? Or perhaps to some directories I didn't mention?

There are so many directories popping up now-a-days it's crazy. There use to be a list (I'll try to find it) of directories listed in order of their PR. Was very good, just needed an update.

Hi,

There are hundreds, maybe thousands of directories. Submiting to the paid ones is not recommended, not even the reciprocal ones.

Just the free ones, cause there are a TON. You get all those backlinks, and it helps in rankings.
