As mentioned in the Newbi Forum i am quite new to domain business. And i received a e-mail from a broker (he is based in switzerland) that his client (based in UK) is interested in the domain...

He wants to have a price offer from me... any ideas? Reg-Fee only? xxx or xxxx?

For me, the domain has not much worth... but for sure, there is like somebody out there, that is exactly looking for this domain... :)

I bought that name, because i think seamless media is a future business longer and longer.

Markets are quite big... home service provider or provider for seamless solutions for business or private.

My persona value... something between 30$ and 100'000$ (... guess you know what i mean...).

There is no traffic because it is quite new.

So... what would you propose? And yes... i guess a lot a people would tell only reg fee... but i got a request :)

Thankx guys!

If you have been contacted by a broker it could indicate that the client is serious and ready to pay a decent amount since the broker fee alone probably is not cheap. Take your precautions, you could have been contacted by a scammer. For example, if this broker requires a domain appraisal from a specific website the chance you are in contact with a scammer is high.

I'm surprised what seems to be an end user is out for this domain as seamlessmedia.com is a developed site so visitors could easily get confused.

You could start out with something in the mid - high $xxxx and negotiate from there. This is IMHO not a high value domain with a lot of potential buyers (however, I don't know anything about the history and previous interest in this domain) so even an $xxx offer seems fair for this one.

I would ask the buyer to make an offer. Lots of hyphens sell in the 2 to 3 thousand range. A hyphen is hard to sell aggressively, but if a company needs the name and the unhyphenated version is taken, it's easily worth a thousand or two.
