I need an IDN cleaner that keeps the Chinese characters but strips away the .cn suffix.
any one no of an online source if not willing to pay -Data is in a txt file

Why don't you use Find and replace in notepad and just Find .cn and replace it with nothing.

Yeah Nick is right, you can use some more better text editor, they offer replace and more features.

Thanks Nick - Just shows you how little I know - worked a dream ofcourse it did

if you need to replace in many files you can do it with crimsom editor at once, just open all the files and it will replace in all for you automatically.
