ApeXX's Unbiased Script Review​

I was provided with a free copy of the script in return for a fair, unbiased review. This review is based on my assessment after 20-30 minutes with the script, I will update it after further usage.

The Good:
* Very easy setup as long as you have basic MySQL / PHP knowledge.
* Comes with simplistic yet functional design.
* Built in (although very limited) admin control panel.
* Easy user navigation
* The price - much lower than your average script.

The Bad:
* It has been done before, with more functionality and catchier design. (IE: Web Battling concept.)
* Very limited administrator control panel.
* Could use a built-in WYSIWYG editor for the pages. (Helpful to new users)
* Semi-dull concept... Who wants to rate sites all day long? It needs some originality!

Suggestions: I would highly recommend a few things. First and foremost, the concept is a tad dull. What if you included a point system, such as for every website you rate, you earn x amount of points? These points could be traded in for different prizes and such, or could be exchanged for website reviews. (Similar to a traffic exchange.) You could also add different colors choices for the website in the admin control panel, for those who wouldn't know how to change the colors.

Summary / Score: 7 / 10

Although RateMySite 1.0 doesn't stray far from the standard "Rate My ..." concept, at only $15 it is a solid script with good functionality that just needs a little "something" to help it stand out from the competition.
