Up for sale is the Scootforum.com domain, its webpages, and its associated database. The price is set at $400:
http://www.scootforum.com
The site was created on May 12, 2008 and has steady traffic with pretty much no effort other than its existence. The domain is currently used as a forum for discussing scooters and anything scooter related, but could be used for other things. The site reaches out to many countries (active members from UK, Canada, Australia, etc.) as the use of scooters over seas is very high. Interest in scooters and the website will only increase as fuel prices increase. Feel free to browse the site and thanks for looking!
Attached is a google Analytics file for the site. I just found out about Google Analytics a couple of months ago so my data is limited to that. Unfortunately, the only traffic I can show is from late fall to winter which is the slowest time for the site (seasonal to mostly spring and summer).
The site is built on the phpBB3 platform and uses the postgres DB so it is all free and open source if you use your own server... no need for windows licenses. I have also implemented my own safeguard against 'bots' after a small problem with 'spam bots' shortly after the site was up and running. After implementing my own security check for newly registered users, I've had zero 'spam bots'. All registered users are genuine (at least as far as I know).
