i have DOT.SC and it's getting a few type-ins. i believe i saw 2 people offering whos.sc and whoi.sc for sale with some traffic stats.

That is what is kind of stopping me. I wanted Cheats.sc, but I have enough domains at wierd registrars thanks to Pool and Snap Names lol. Oh well, now Cheats.sc is gone .

But isnt that 'the point' with domain speculation.. If i sold at the two offers received thus far with the many .sc domains ive bought, id more than cover the cost, some people said i was mad to outlay in the first place..??

Personally, with the advent of all the new ccTLD's on the market place now and the IDN TLD's, I think the market will (very quickly) move away away from weak .coms (3 word and 4 word'ers) and head toward the ccTLD's where the domain itself was strong...

Put yourself in the shoes of an end user. If, by chance, this particular end user was in the business of car sales e.g. and didnt yet have a web presence (which, i am sure youll agree, would be few and far between) would they go for online-car-sales-uk-ltd.com or would they go for cars.sc??

I know what my choice would be....

Time will tell.

Good point, ri. The Internet is growing a field of colorful new flowers, and the .COM rosebush doesn't smell as indispensable to the environment as it used to.

Domain speculating is fine, having your domain with problem registrars is not. I have been hearing some bad things about idotz.net lately on the forums.

fyi, none of my .sc domains are parked at sedo....Simply listed there.. So if you're intimating that i might be lying, i suggest you show your hand and declare exactly what you mean by your comments...

And again, fyi, the offer for house.sc did actually come from sedo so maybe you should do you research a bit more thoroughly next time...
