The NameBio evaluations are all over the place.
I think instead of branding saw.tv as the tool or the movie (copyright issues), a much more powerful angle could be what you saw on TV (saw.tv).
Ideas:
-TV discussion platform. I remember watching breaking bad and reading every single episode’s analysis because the show had so much depth. It was so fascinating and I was intrigued by it endlessly. Saw.tv could be a blogging platform for the TV episode discussions of any show, since I noticed that there was a gap in content for this. Some shows, like Dexter, didn’t have such thorough discussions and analysis online. They were scattered all across the web and this was a bummer for me because I wanted to immerse myself in the show and discuss it with someone... have you ever wanted to, also? (Besides friends irl) saw.tv = what you saw on TV
-A calculator for how many hours a year you spend watching TV.
-As seen on tv (‘saw on tv’) product collection site with affiliate links
-Shazam, but for TV. Although this idea would be incredibly, very very, very complex. So let’s say you watch a show and you have no way of knowing what it’s called (OTA TV). You open your saw.tv app and ‘scan’ the media and it tells you. Shows you links to buy the show or stream it
-Any other spin on the act of watching TV and providing a service for it.
Thanks for the practice. I encourage everyone to think outside the box. Ever since I started doing so I could easily come up with weird ideas. Most probably aren’t good but hopefully a few stick.
