Saw an interesting .ws in use today.

I was a little surprised today to see printed on a city fire department vehicle the website listed as LebanonOhio.ws instead of the normal www.ci.lebanon.oh.us heirarchical and traditional city .us name or a .org version. I really did a double take on that thinking I'd seen something in error.

I've seen some small business using .ws and .cc, but never a city before.

That is quite interesting, IMHO. I woudl've thought too, that cities would use the official format.

Actually, they are using the official format. however, on the trucks they are using the .ws redirect to it for actual promotion.
