I still confuse about what to do with "Savings.jp"

Do you think an "English domain name" would make sense to Japanese market which make me have an opportunity to develop this domain? or should i sell it to the right end user?

I saw that Savings.com and Savings.ca doing good at the marketplace, but i know its different with .jp

Btw, This domain has a few backlinks and listed at Archive.org

Hmm every country has a bank, but I don't think Japanese use english names often. All the best :)

That depends on how familiar is the word to Japanese. "Savings" is not.

I do not expect to have a good profit by just selling. Probably development is the way to go.

Just curious what is the Japanese market like? I would think as high tech as Japan is that the .jp domains would sell for high amounts, but I never see their domains on the dnjournal.

if you are thinking whether to renew I would advise against, worth developing? I doubt it.

Japan is a number of years behind. Domain as investiment didn't reach the man in the street. It is less competitive but all good names are already taken by investors, waiting for the masses to come.

The second part to the question is they don't speak English; the typical investor won't come to Sedo to buy a domain. Big transactions are likely to occur in a site in Japanese. Unless DNJournal speaks the language or get translations, they won't be aware of those transactions.
