Usually how I appraise when considering domain availability is I disregard the first main three .com, .org. .net, those are registered many times on speculation, then I add half the value of a registration fee for every domain after that. The idea being that if someone is willing to pay money for these lesser TLDs then half of the standard tld value of $6.00 ($3.00) per domain is what I give it. So you are looking at $9.00 so far...
Next thing I do is look at similar sales comparables. I find my information at
http://dnsaleprice.com
ProjectEarth
org $750 Aug 06 Afternic
HowToSaveTheWorld org
$200 Jun 08 Sedo Auction
SavingTheEnvironment com $1,351 Mar 08 TDNam
SaveTheRainForests com
$600 Jul 06 Sedo
Looking at similar domain name sales I can see there being some potential with your name to the right client and some good waiting time, but the reward is still not very high for a potentially long wait.
You are looking at speculatively speaking, low $XXX, possibly upper $200 range would be my guess to the right party. You can try to put it on an auction on SEDO and see what happens.
As far as link power to the name concerning google only since it's the major search engine, you currently have...
"432" google competing pages using that term
Google Volume Estimates (using google keyword tool external) ->
save the earth project -> 210 monthly searches!
save the earth projects -> 73 monthly searches!
Google KEI -> 102.08 (Good!)
I see some good potential to make a site that gets decent monthly traffic with your name. Having the domain names gives you higher odds of beating the competition and ranking above the rest, especially on yahoo and msn which can in turn build up your link rating on google eventually.
It is difficult to put a value on this, but at the minimum lets say you were selling a $5 toy. Normally 20/80 people actually buy something when they go into a store, on the internet it's 10/90 if there are interested targeted customers.
So $5X10=$50 for 100 visitors, you are looking at 250, so $150 of potential profit selling something with a good site, so I would give this domain a lot of credit.
I appraise at: $9.00 + $150 +low $XXX, for $159 + low $XXX, which I think you can make a case for when selling especially if you work to get it's rank up in google.
Good luck with the name and hope my insight helps you a little.
