Hello all, there has been a good amount of recent talk about sav.com especially about the problems with dan.com which I still don't have a clear grasp of on the conflict.
Anyways I decided to give them a try because of their low pricing & no fee backorders.
Pricing:
Cheapest non-promo .com .net .org .co & .io (as far as I know) registrations, transfers, and renewals.
Backorders:
No fee! only had to pay their cheap registration price! Only backorder I've used so far that has captured the name for me & again it required no fee!
There are some small issues though that should be resolved:
I received tons of registrant/contact info emails for my email changing within 2 emails I use (not sure how that even happened) & 99% of those emails included invalid/expired confirmation links. & they weirdly use their I'm guessing old registrant name: nameking.com for the confirmations.
I would also like to see more info on the backorder panel like other providers such as:
Checkout process:
Easy & no upsells! But payment methods are limited, either card or check (who still pays with checks?). No PayPal, I know a lot of people want it but if you want to use PayPal in places that don't accept it, get their debit card & pay with that.
Domain Management:
DNS: Pretty easy to use. It looks like they look Cloudflare to manage DNS instead of their own system which is a first.
The interface is nice & simple, would like to see the upcoming renewal price, this is also a con of Porkbun as well, I don't like hidden or hard to find renewal costs.
Being able to label & categorize domains would be good too.
Domain Selling:
Not an Afternic partner, not on Sedo MLS but offers Sedo domains? Maybe they are still working on it.
Support:
Their support page has no submission form so you have to manually contact, no live support & no ticket system. It's been over a week & they have not responded to my email.
Extras:
This is obviously not well centered
I like their pricing list https://www.sav.com/domains & how it shows which extensions have premium priced domains.
I cut them some slack since it's a new platform & look forward to the improvements and hopefully, I am not getting scammed!
For those wondering who runs Sav as I did:

(Not sure what they mean by this: Your new A.I. digital identity designer.)
