Hi everybody,
i'm an absolute newbie considering webdevelopment and i'm desperately trying to get PHPbb up and running on my local Apache installation (OS X 3.7).
First of all, Apache is working like it should, I already installed the latest versions of PHP and MySQL. Despite of that, when starting the installation of PHPbb it simply does not work:
I get the startup dialog, where i can put in all of the information needed to create a new database, but when applying these settings, getting a new blank startup dialog is all that happens (after a minimal loading delay).
Is there a way to see, what really happens in the background? I mean, some sort of log, that contains information about why it might have failed to install?
Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
