I just picked up RFID US and I can sell it today for $5,000

After looking at these sales it really makes me think?

What are your thoughts?

Below are just a few .us sales

VOIP.us Sold for $25,000

food.us Sold for $20,000

industry.us Sold for $17,000

GourmetFoods.us Sold for $10,750

WholeFoods.us sold for $10,000

GiftBasket.us was a steal. That domain should have sold for $5,000+. This from www.usforum.us

It is a great domain. It is difficult to value because of the new technology so I would say hold onto it. Start compiling a list of RFID companies in the US and begin professionally contacting them. Actually, I can help you with this because I own RFIDTV.us/RFIDsystem.us and have already started a list. To an end user, RFID.US could be worth xx,xxx in a year or two.

While 5k seems to be a fair price currently, I believe holding the name would be a strong long-term investment. Given the trajectory of the RFID market, and its role in one of the most wide-spread industries (logistics/stm), this is a premium name. I have some OR work/forecasting experience, and the efficiency gains from RFID should soon permeate into even smaller supply chain models once retailers and larger wholesalers continue to drive down the costs of moving to the technology. Like the appraisals above, I believe low 5 is certainly within range on this name as the .us space continues to mature. Thus, I believe it's important to look at the opportunity cost of holding the name -- if you have a use for it, or are willing to hold in the medium run, then I believe the name should be a strong hold.
