Rewrite Rule [Help]

I need some help here..

I need a rewrite rule for this:

http://www.website.com/content/* to http://www.website.com/content/*.html

A real example:

http://www.website.com/content/hello-people to http://www.website.com/content/hello-people.html

Can anyone provide me the code?

Try:

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteRule ^content/(.*)$ /content/$1.html [L,R=301]

It should just about work... unless you have:
content/test.php
which would redirect to:
content/test.php.html
