Nice and simplistic design. It immediately transports the theater angle. I wouldn't change anything on the interface, i would add pictures of performances and audience comments though. Eventually present flash video pieces of your work on stage. The more interactivity you provide the further your site will go.
-> add more visual entertainment

Let the personalities stand out more. Introduce the crew, the actors, the cast of upcoming, past and present performances. Let them speak about what's going on, transport the "family" environment that the cast has, and let your audience be part of it.
-> add more personality

Overall, it's a well done project, a few simple enhancements and you're set!

Its nice and simple as said above, but I think the layout could be worked on. the logo is far to big, and pushes the page down a lot, it is also not of the best quality. try to center it like the content as well (so it is inline with the left edge of the content), it looks lost out there.

All of your elements on the actual page are floating around, try to give them some structure. maybe make the menu buttons a bit smaller in height (the roll overs are nice), as they are far too large, and again, push the content underneath below the fold. Also, why is the ocnten on the main page like 1 inch pushed down? either add a header, or get it further up, you are leaving unnecessary white space there, and it looks odd.

oh, and your contact page messes up.

Good start though :)

agreed with mike and todd, except that with the logo doesnt necessarily need to be smaller since your page isnt that long, although i personally would make it smaller as well. also, the logo needs to be cleaned up / sharpened, as it seems a bit pixelated right now. the site would also look much better if you centered and expanded the logo into a proper header, which would also eliminate that "floating" look as mentioned above.

and definitely needs more graphics and pictures for a website called "dynamite theatre" ;)

logo: hmm... don't like it at all. I'm assuming those blurry white lines are lights yea? Well, get some proper lasers or something to go there,not those lights. Also the words are really pixxelated. I'd get it sorted really, only thing bringing your site down really. Make it fit in with the template too. The border seems to just "end" on the content.

Its a bit dark tbh. The foreground is nice. Try exchanging the black background for something lighter, maybe even white. Also, you are a dramatics website right? Get some pictures up! lol Not necessarily the best example - but look at http://www.thestage.co.uk/. There is a nice picture up of soemone acting. Getting some pictures up keeps your site "sweet" and adds interest to it. Change them regularly, or even better have loads on a random loop. So whenever people revisit the site they get a different picture. Its a drama site, so make it imaginative, and fun :).

Not a bad design you have, MiXxY. :tu:

However, the logo appears to be aligned left for me, and the content is centered?
Is it supposed to be like that? :) Check attachment

Maybe because of my monitor though?

Now, the design. :D
I'm not too keen on the dark, black background.

I think a light colour would be alot better!
Although, if you want to stick with the "darker" theme, maybe a dark grey would be better suited?

Your site doesn't seem to have alot of colour, this isn't a bad thing, but it certainly would make the site look more "lively", and more modern and updated.

Especially, drama.
I would think colours would suit this "genre" of site.

I think the navigation is too oversized.

Try adding a few images too, it could help visitors remember your site...

Hope this helped. :)

the logo looks out of place in the top left corner and tacky, it's jagged around the edge and looks unprofessional, and the two triangles are blurred and hurt the eyes

the layout of the site is generally good and the nav menu is cool

you need another color in there to break up all the black and cream coloring, i'd look at changing the black bg to a gradient instead

other than that

looking nice so far :)

:lala: :lala: :lala:

do that! :D lol

there are a few things I would change... the shadow on the bottom of the content (ie: the top of the content's shadow) just distracts from the bottom content really, so I would remove it. :) Also... the nav bar now dosen't really fit. I think it shoudl be incorporated into the red header, or something, but it looks outta place now. ;)

Much better though!

Well Done
