weird safari issue
This is strange: I have a background image placed in a div through a stylesheet, and it shows up fine in every browser when i view it locally. But when I FTP to my server, it still shows up fine in everything EXCEPT SAFARI.
I'm familiar with many of the various buggy behaviors among different browsers, and I've done my best to eliminate any obvious CSS errors or ambiguities. I thought it might be a z-index issue at first, but I corrected for this and no change.
The thing that gets me is that this only happens with the remote file. Incidentally, there are several other stylesheet background images used in other divs on the page, and they show up fine.
Any thoughts? Help? I've experience a lot of CSS trickiness, but this takes the cake!
[ UPDATE: ] Please ignore this completely. I'm a total idiot. I would delete if I could but I can't. Forget z-index, CSS, whatever. Try AD BLOCKER. Duh. The one image was a wide width image and I had PithHelmet detecting and blocking ads. Ugh. Apologies to all.
