Spacing Problem

I have a small spacing problem with my layout.

In IE the webpage looks okay, but in FF there is a spacing problem above and below the login area. The website is: http://www.emeraldfeathers.com/onlineawards/

What can I do to solve this? Thank you.

on css.css before body try put

* { margin:0; padding:0;}

It worked but now other parts of my site are not spaced correctly. what should i do?

all my other tables have zero padding and spacing. for example on the events page. all the text in the tables is pushed to the side. Is there a way to fix this? thanks.

ok remove * { margin:0; padding:0;}

and on the line 84

<div id="subNav"><p align="center">

change to

<div id="subNav"><p align="center" style="margin:0; padding:0;">

and line 99 (button login and search)

<p align="right">

change to

<p align="right" style="margin:0; padding:0;">
