Help customizing Input text, and submit button

Hello,

I was looking for some CSS to customize form input text, and submit button out of the regular default look.. I tried to use border-width with button, but does not work as expected. Any help appreciated, +rep. :xf.love:

Uhh....

Here's some examples, (inline CSS):
HTML:
<input type="text" style="font-size:24px;color:red;border:0;" value="Default textbox" />
HTML:
<input type="submit" style="font-size:3em;color:yellow;background-color:orange;border:1;" value="Default submit" />
Just remember, borders and styles are on inputs are sometimes difficult.

Thanks Daniel.. but the button still does not look slick. Is there anyway around to make the button look very slick? :tu: +rep sent
