Nice brandable name, but it is one of those names which doesn't lends itself to any obvious development ideas. Also, no overture and wordtracker. Still worth high $xx - low xxx, based on brandability and age.

I think that "select" is a good dictionary word, "reselect" is not. But if you can get someone with initials R. E. interested it could be good.

Dman is right... it is an aged domain and should go high $xx to a reseller.

I like this one personally, I do like its branding potential, but as pointed out obviously by dman - it doesnt quite lend itself to anything in particular. I could imagine a few directions on it, but im thinking you MIGHT be able to get low xxx - if an End-user "had to have" this name - obviously you can do better.

But I like it quite a bit. Let me know if your interested in selling.

The domain name is exellent, rarely you can grab dictionary words, it is easily brandable, sounding nice, i will appraise in the mid$XXX zone.

Thanks for your input so far, everyone (reps all around! -- except for Spade, as I've apparently given some too recently). This has given me some ideas about it.

One thing is that since "RE" = "real estate," this would make a great brandable real estate site: "RESelect: Real Estate Select"! Not sure I can pull that off myself, but I'll be giving that some thought.

Thanks for your interest, Justin -- however, just having picked it up I think I'll be holding onto it for a while longer, at least. I'll keep you in mind, though, should I decide it's time to sell.

Any other ideas/appraisals/etc. are still welcome...

Note that English is not my native language and my comment above may be misleading. To me reselect is unattractive but it is obviously not the case of others here.

I like the name. It's very versatile, a factor which can either kill or help a dn be attractive to EU's. It's kind of in the limbo zone where you're not quite sure of an exact use, but there seem to be many uses waiting just beyond the horizon, just can't see them clearly.
I wouldn't think it's as valuable as the very common 'deselect', but I think it's more attractive for branding due to the 'positive' message - RE instead of DE.
I expect it would be a hard sell to convince someone/company with the initials RE that 'select' would be a great name to tag onto it (like real estate select), I feel the value here is in straight branding of the word. I'd appraise:
resellers = $150 - 250 range, add another C-note if they really like it. It's neat enough to want to have, but the use is so nebulous I doubt a reseller would want to take a chance with more $$ than this.
end user = $500 - 800?; I think that's a sober price for an end user to offer, but it's an interesting enough word - as we have seen by the variety of responses in this thread - that I wouldn't be surprised for you to get a substantially higher amount if the right end user swans by and their eyes bug out at the name.
Neat one. Hard call on the appraisal, but I like the name.

I think I've posted these on my availables list in the past. If anyone likes this kind of name for some purpose, the following are still avail to reg:
reselector.com
deselector.com
reselecting.com
deselecting.com -- this one's probably the best of the lot.

Have fun

Excellent insights, bannen! Thanks for that...and you're actually quite on the money with the purchase price...I paid in that range for it. Seemed good enough to pay that much for!
