I already know how to slice a photoshop file, and then make text blocks the background, yadda yadda. Now what I need to know is the complicated stuff: make the website stretch to the side of the browser windows, how to make ongoing pictures, how to make "smart" content blocks, etc.

For example, if I coded this Namepros site, I would make the top blue menu bar the background, and just put the text in it (User CP, FAQ, etc), but if I wanted to go on to the next line (<br>) I would get breaking. This is what I mean by "smart" content blocks.

Can someone make a tutorial like this?

Thanks.

Well I think (if I understand correctly) you are not able to put stuff in the white area...or do you mean like the search drop downs.

Using a <br> is designed to go to the next line, using the sites header example, you have a set height and width, if you didn't want the background to repeat when using a <br> you could set the background-repeat: no-repeat; option.

Otherwise, you would use divisions (or the old...outdated...but still trustworthy tables method).

Could you explain with a little more detail and I am sure someone here will be happy to help with a tutorial.
