General Requirements :

Site title: Start Domaining

Logo
A logo should be incuded in the design

Purpose:
This is to be a blog mainly directed to newbies in the domain business.

Advertisement
The design should include spaces in standard sizes for advertising purposes. Include your sugestions for banners and / or AdSense placement. Keep it decent, advertising is not to be the main purpose of this development.

Preferences
I like clear straightforward designs.
Do not overload with graphic elements.

Technical
I will need the original PSD File(s)
Include hover graphics where applicable.

Additional Information :

The winner will be determined in a poll here at Namepros.
Depending on the ammount of entries I reserve the right to make a preselection before entering the poll.

The winner will also have the option being mentioned as designer of the site. A link in the footer as well as a self written promotional article within the site as preferred.

Oh yes, that would be great. The requirement only state a design including Logo as a psd file though.

Although The final decision will be in a poll, I find your design does not quite suit the subject. It's sort of too catchy and somewhat overloaded with graphic elements.

It's not a question of not liking certain elements. I just I find it a little too crowded.

OK, nice jobs. Here a little bit of feedback

The header is still to crowded. Make the menu a little smaller, the title and slogan are to be text instead of grafic. Add a symol logo. The body looks ok, but again, the post title can not be grafic text.

Nice Job. Just two comments:
I don't like the stripes in the titles on the left. The logo looks nice but I can't recognise any affinity to the subject.

Not quite my taste, but I'm not sure what to change. Footer is missing. I think the white text on light green background is difficult to read.

Also, I think we will have a contrast problem with the colors you are using.

Your layout with entries and comments in the header is very original, but I'm afraid it will limit the amount of visible entries too much. Also, I think the text body is to wide. This makes text lines too long and difficult to read.

I think we will need a second sidebar column. Once we have all the categories, recent posts, blogroll and other necessary standard element, the ads would go to far down. We would be better off if we can split the elements in two colums.

It's not a question of like or dislike. It's a question of contrast. For example the blue in blue in the header section is difficult to read. Blue is a nice color, there is probably just too much of it.

alright. I'll start working on it and maybe remove some blue. Thanks for the feedback.

Ok, hopefully my final revision. Everything is still fully customizable. I can change any color, size, text, gradient, you name it.

The search field seems a little dark. Would white be better?
