I want the design to be simple, look more professional and have a better lay out than the current one does. One example that I think would work really well and that I like is the facebook layout as you can see here:

Design may be in PSD or HTML format.

Note: If using images in design please don't use any specific to one type of teaching. Our site lists teachers of all types and so those types of images will not work.

hey, sorry for the late entry, but here is my design.

It is not coded into an actual page at the moment, if chosen it will be though.

I will try get my design in by tonight.

Im working on it now as we speak.

Here is my attempt. I rushed it slightly to try and get it in.

I was going to make the top panel (blue + orange) glossy, if need be i can. The text and stuff is demo only, when its developed into an actual website it will look alot cleaner, it looks slightly blured at the moment due to the way PS rendered it.

I really appreciate everyones attempts!. There are some talented people here! Well i will have to call the contest soon.
Ukbydesign you are in the front at the moment and I think your design stands out by far. There are some changes I would like made however.

eg/ I want the top corners to be curved not straight. Also the page is too wide. I wanted it to be kept same width as the page I showed in my example design which i think is about 760px. May want to change some colours also. There are various other changes I would like to make also but I really like the way you've used the colours and your designs for displaying the contact info etc.

If nothing else comes then it looks like it will be yours (ukbydesign) and if so, I would love to work on this with you and finish it off with various changes I may want to make.

RJ has still not refunded the 10% deposit I paid him to be able to post this thread as it was my first thread on this site.
