I would like the design to be some kind of glossy in blue and white. Im open for other ideas. The colors of the website are like http://lifestreambackup.com/

General Requirements :
The site will be a webhosting company, named "netbuddy". So something with a technical but nice buddy would be great.
Additional Information :
The lettering netbuddy should be integrated.

scorpion you made a great "buddy", shizuo i really like the "hidden" technical part in your buddy. Maybe your buddy could be "more alife"?!


Edit to shizuo: More smiling and a different font would be good.

Sorry nodws, the buddy is too playful for me. He´s not bad as itself, but I would use it better for a toy shop.

No it isn't a free font. Would turn it into vectors/curves, when giving away the logo.

You could use the logo for whatever you want to.
There wouldn't be no licensing problems if that's what you wanted to know.
It's all vectors (including the font) - so its all yours if you want it.

As far as I know converting a font to vector shapes or flat image or another format does not mean you are free to use a licensed font. On the other hand, there is an easy solution for that. Ancitis you would have to change at least one letter in some ways. Then it will be copyright free. An example to this is the o in microsoft logo.

As consulted some of my friends/designers, my entry already appears to be valid and there can't be any license problems further.
And found this:
1.4 Embedding of the Font Software into electronic documents or internet pages is only permitted under the absolute assurance that the recipient cannot use the Font Software to edit or create a new document (read-only). It must be ensured that the Font Software cannot be fully or partially extracted from said documents.

Anyway there's no winner yet, so let's stop talking and make some logos!
