[REQ-LOGO] Logo required for web development company

Type of Contest: LOGO Design for web development company "Glazebrooknet"
Prize: $35.00 paid by PayPal
Contest End Date & Time: November 16th, 11pm GMT (or sooner if a great logo is submitted)
Size Requirements: Logo at 100px x 100px AND logo at 300px (w) x 100px (h)
Color Requirements: I'd like some blue, black, silver but will consider other colors if they blow me away. White background ideally.

General Requirements: Logo is for the top of the website for a web development company. I'd like it to look Web 2.0 and be cutting edge, up-to-date and sharp.

Logo will also be used at the top of letterhead for quotes.

Would like something that can be used in a square space, dimensions 100px x 100px with possibly just the first letter 'g'. I quite like a lower-case 'g' perhaps in a typeface like Georgia.

Then I'd like a complimentary rectangular version of dimensions 300px width x 100px height that can be used where the whole company name is needed.

Additional Information: Logo will be required in png format for final delivery.

I'm liking the more Web 2.0 type designs of namanda and erock5 so far.

Munsen02 - I like the glazebrooknet part of the design, but not so sure about the 'g' in the square.

Thanks everyone for the entries so far... here are some thoughts:

Catfish - really nice. We're liking those, especially the top one.

Gooddesigner - I like the round 'g', but the font of Glazebrooknet is a little plain.

erock5 - any chance we can see the 300x100 version please.

coolwanz - we like the general idea, but not sure about the green yet. I think the blues look a little cooler.

Hi Namanda

We like your design, but I think we're leaning towards Catfish's ideas. We like the fact that the 'g' does not look too much like a Google 'g'. However, I do like your 4th square 'g' too.

Amin. Thanks for your designs. They are not really doing it for us though. I think too much of 'Amway' or that type of thing - they do not look as professional as we want to appear.
