This has been a very impressive show of talent and creativity by all of you. I'm at the point of narrowing down my choices to the top 3. I want to thank everyone for their submissions. Each one has excellent merits and potential.

My top 3 are Steveteva, Dlight, and LANDstrykere. (I'll send you each some feedback in separate posting after this one).

Abdel,Will7, and Nayfeee: Your designs were clever but didn't quite nail it.

Nguyen: I'm sorry you didn't try again -- your design had potential!

Gooddesigner: The revisions you submitted were better, but the hands were too stiff and not well-proportioned. The new oval designs are confusing. I don't get the oval shape - looks like babies in an egg or in a womb. Reminds me of a logo for an OB-Gyn.

Tysonjb: Nice designs, but too mechanical-feeling, and the IHT is a little too large and imposing.

Again, I want to thank you all for your time and effort!

Dlight, LANDstrykere, and Steveteva: I would ask for minor adjustments to review before making my decision. Each of your designs are very appealing and it is a difficult process deciding between them. I will ask each of you for some final (hopefully minor) revisions before making my final decision.

Dlight: In your revised logo, the hands seem a little too long, taking away from the circular shape that I liked in your first submission. The sides of the design are relatively straight, compared to the rounded top and bottom. Can you maybe widen or shorten the hands, making it more round, and regaining it's "yin-yang" appearance? (That would help it look less like a "stop sign", too). Also, how about presenting some other font options, maybe using similar font to the lettering of IHT within the hands??? Lastly, I think I'd like a little darker blue, less turquoise tones.

LANDstrykere: My main concern about your design is the size of the logo - I'm not sure that it will fit well on business cards, letterhead, etc. Can you decrease the size of the hand without compromising the overall design? Also, maybe play around with a slightly different font - the edges on the hand are "soft", maybe get a little softer font?

Steveteva: The design with the lettering inside the hand is very nice. Could you just present a few different font styles?

Thanks, again, to each of you!

Thanks for your positive comment, I've add 4 different font styles, font size can be adjusted to fit your request.

My logo is 1 color, great for business cards, printed materials...

I tried a couple different treatments. Feel free to pick and choose different aspects, but I went with a lighter, 'softer' feel that was hopefully what you're looking for.

I've picked the winner(s), The winner is LANDstrykere, with Steveteva and Dlight tied for 2nd place. I've sent private messages to each of you (heard back only from Steveteva so far), so please check your messages and get back to me.
LANDstrykere: You're in 1st Place, but I have some concerns about the printability and faxability of the color schemes and would ask for some changes in the lettering.
Dlight: You and Steveteva are tied for 2nd place, and I would like to pay each of you 2nd place awards if you are willing to release the designs. Dlight, I asked for some slight revisions to your design as well, if you are willing to do that (please check your message).

Thanks again to each of you.

Nguyen Huy Hai: Thanks for trying again, but I had already made my decision before seeing your submissions. Some feedback: The top design was very appealing and had some potential. The second design was interesting, and I liked it, but it reminded me too much of some of the hand injuries I work with (I've treated people who have taken Skil saws to their hands like that) :) The third design didn't appeal to me at all - the hands were difficult to discern and the picture was hard to "get". The 4th design seems a little too simplistic. But, again, thank you for your efforts and nice work.
