[REQ-LOGO] Design for my Aviation related website

Type of Contest : Logo/Favicon Design

Prize : $40 paid via paypal or GD gift card

Contest End Date & Time : Friday March 25th 10 PM EST or before if I see a great design.

Size Requirements : Typical logo size. Not to large. Something loads quickly and available in different formats .png .jpg

Color Requirements : No preferences, but maybe blue & gray. Would like to see variations.

General Requirements : Logo should have a transparent or floating background so I can easily change header color. Also would like to be able to use for other media types.

Should include "Jet Engine Jobs". Possibly an image of a Jet Engine, but not an airplane. Maybe with or without the .com. If image is used would also like to use it as a favicon image to accompany the logo.

I'm open to all suggestions and designs.

For inspiration checkout some jet engine manufactures:
GE, Pratt Whitney, Mercedes, Rolls Royce

I really need to replace the current image as it is truly hideous. Looking for a more professional image.

I like yours stevetevas. The engine image looks good. Can I see some variations of fonts and color in the text.

sorin, something more like stevetevas is what I was going for. Looking for "Jet Engine Jobs" for the wording. A favicon is the tiny image that displays in your browser corner or in the toolbar when you bookmark a website.

Looks good. Still missing something but I just can't place it. I like the font color and the extension on the "g" through the line. Can you replace the word "fields" with "Industry"?

Are you familiar with the swirls that are on the front of the engine? They spiral around the nose cone. Curious to see what it would look like with either a black or white one. here is a sample one on flickr

Yeah, I'll do it to see, and I know the swirls are famoust it also give an illusion that the engine is turning on real engines, I used to work at army aviation when younger.

steveteva nice job. Since I am adding a logo to my site I don't need all the extra words for SEO. Can I see it without text on the bottom, and possibly add the swirl back to the engine cone. Other than that looks great!!

ezlock- I really like the font in your design. Can you add a bold black " .com " just under the banner to the right? Also can you put more gradient on the blue blades so it fades dark.

Welcome to the contest nguyen_huy_hai. I like the basics of your designs. I prefer the blue logo(top), but I like the letter spacing in the orange one. Not really into the images of the people. Maybe more of a mechanic looking person, but not sure how to do or explain that one. I will have to think more about what it can use. Thanks again

A different approach towards defining a 'Jet Engine'. Feedback is greatly appreciated.

I like the different approach. Might be a good approach to see an engine at that angle. Not sure if the image is something that associates well with the site.
