[REQ-LOGO] $40 Contest

Type of Contest : Logo/Header Design
Prize : $40
Contest End Date & Time : Wednesday, January 24th 8pm EST
Size Requirements : 800x90px max
Color Requirements : Orange and Blue
General Requirements : I need a logo designed for CarrotCash.com. Possibly include an image of money, a carrot or maybe even a rabbit in there. However, I do not want the logo to look too cartooney or unprofessional. This is going to be an incentive based website. If you can think of some other symbol to use besides a carrot or rabbit, go right ahead. I am open to new ideas.
Additional Information : I have attached two images. bg.jpg is the background that I originally intended to use for the logo. It doesnt have to be used though. If you dont use it, please stick with the dark blue background. design.jpg is a snapshot of part of the design I intend to use. This is so you can get an idea on what colors I use on my site so you can match the colors in the logo.

Logo should be in .psd format

Winner can choose how to recieve the $40. If you do not want to use paypal, we can do something like an amazon gift card or something along those lines, its totally up to you. I prefer something that I can pay for with a CC online so you can get it instantly.

FYI, I dont mind if the logo has a height greater than 90px. The width, however, should be no more than 800px.

Also, dont worry too much about making the logo look like the part of the design I attached. Just use that for colors. I plan on having another contest for a design in the future. This design is just temporary until I launch my site.

Hey everyone! Thanks for the submissions so far! Here are my comments:

blues_bogan: I like it. I think it would look better if you could use a different font and lessen the space between letters. Also, if you could put it on one line and make it a bit bigger, that would be good.

majinbuu1023: Its a little too small and too simple for me. Try making the font bigger and maybe even use a cartoon rabbit, not a real image.

J-MAN: I like the S with the carrots . Only thing I dont like is the 'orange yellow orange yellow' in the font. Try just doing a fade from orange to yellow or yellow to orange, and a drop shadow or something.

ZeniusIVanisher: I really like it so far. My only suggestions is to make the text a bit wider to take up a bit more empty space, not sure how it would look though. I was trying to figure out how to incorporate an image of a carrot in there, but couldnt figure something out. If you can figure out a way, great. If not, its no big deal, looks good though.

J-MAN: Looks much better that way. Good Job.

ZeniusIVanisher: It looks a lot better with the bigger text. Not really digging the carrot right there though. Looks better the original way with just the bunny. No need to repost it wth the carrot removed though, I know how it will look.

i_luv_pitza: Looks good! Only suggestion I can make is sliding the CarrotCash text to the left a bit, and then moving the rabbits to the right a bit. I am also starting to think it will look better with a solid blue background instead of the one I posted in my original thread.

blues_bogan: Looks much better all on one line like that. I dont really have any other suggestions at the moment. I will let you know if I can think of something else.

Jonny: I prefer to have a blue background, similar to the one posted in my original post. Also, the text should be a bit bigger since it is going to be the main header on my site.


Its going to be tough to pick a winner. I see many that I like right now. Thank you to everyone who has submitted an entry so far!
