I'm sorry to hear that you are having difficulties in processing a
payment and I understand that you have tried several times to send a
payment and have been blocked by our internal security system. This
occurrence is not a reflection that PayPal is looking at you or your
financial information negatively, rather at the transaction information
that is being processed. We do not base this on your credit line or
credit rating as PayPal does not inquire about that. The possible
scenarios that we try to prevent are chargebackโs, stop payments, and
unauthorized transactions. These scenarios could cause potential losses
to PayPal, you and the other party involved. As such, we try to prevent
them based on statistics as our indicators.
I regret that I can neither give you detailed information as to why our
security system has blocked this transaction nor am I able to override
or manually change the security settings.
You may at the moment view this as an inconvenience but in actual fact
this system we use has helped reduce losses for both buyers and sellers,
as we only have your best interests in mind. A smooth transaction is an
ideal transaction and we wish to straighten out any possible problems
before it occurs, prevention is always better than cure.
You could try to send the payment at a later time. However, if the
problem will persist, we apologize but you would need to use a different
funding option to complete this rejected payment.
