The Republican state (of affairs) is in pretty sad shape right about now, but another angle may be an actual U.S. State that traditionally leans Republican; Texas, Tennesse, Kentucky, West Virginia, etc. :imho:

Exact ave search volume is low, 140/mo. with a cpc of $0.61 which will probably fall dramatically in the off season. The plural version (states) get 1300/mo in comparison. In three years the timing should be better for selling. Hopefully the economy will be better in three years too.

At this point xxx, or develop and wait three years.

Hi Jeff and npcomplete, thanks for your appraisals. I didn't notice that the plural was for sale, thanks for pointing that out.

Like your stats show, my singular seems to be the more searched term according to Google... hopefully that'll help improving its sale.
