Ouch, looks like the gloves came off. I kind of hope Obama takes the high road and just explains what his ideas are in better detail regarding the economy...

Obviously, Obama could never afford to admit that close a relationship to Ayers, but it IS something that many voters care about. I think this is the first time I've seen the question raised so well, but like I said this is not really the path to go down, most voters want economic explanations.

As I stated last week: :gl:
I'm sure that McCain/Palin will now go on a last ditch negative attack offensive effort against Obama, but ... in the end ... it will all look and go down in the history books as being as desperate as Palin was in even trying to answer some very basic questions with Katie Couric, IMHO.

Trust me, I've been following intracacies of politics very closely for many, many years ... McCain is getting grumpier and grumpier by the day, and now many from even inside his campaign (I know these people) are starting to distance themselves, politically! :ghost: :imho:

The fat lady is singing, folks! :yell:

yea McCain is losing it slowly but surely. He's so dumb.

I know many Republican insiders ... and they are already getting their ducks in order (yes, right now!) and gearing up for a Romney vs. Obama in 2012, IMHO. :lala:
Also, keep your eye on Bobby Jindl!

Straight up!

I guess it is mud slinging time, the usual tactic used by both parties in most elections.

If Obama-Biden don't play into their hands, they will stay a top.

^ Agreed, as the one thing that is time tested proven ... is that last minute undecided's and independents are most turned off by negative attacks, IMHO. :yell:
This is precisely why there has been an internal implosion within the McCain camp ... in going negative they are using a very unpopular Bush/Rove tactic, and it has big-time backfired. Those wise Republicans with an eye toward the future - ie., electability - are dropping quickly from McCain/Palin like flies! :alien:

It's still too early to call this game. Heck, I watched the Colts score 21 points in 2:10 the other day, lol, ANYTHING is possible.

I still want, and believe that McCain will be President, just not sure this is the best avenue to do it on. There are so many other ways for McCain to go after him. I don't think anything will ever match the nastiness of the Bush/Kerry mudslinging, though, that completely turned me off of that election, couldn't stand either one of their campaigns.

At the end of the day, the country's scenario favors democrats. Its a republican who was in power in the past 8 yrs when so much nonsense has happened. Its republicans who have explaining to do this election since the messups happened under their watch. The democrats have a candidate they are generally united and enthused about, while the republicans didn't think McCain should be where he is now. Obama argues better than McCain, and Biden argues better than Palin. The democratic base is much better mobilized this time, and it'll soon be game time!!!!!!!!!!!!

^ Exactly ... for further proof, check the polls in the critical battleground states of Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Nevada, Missouri, Virginia, even North Carolina, and here in New Hampshire, IMHO.
I do not see any reasonable scenario in which McCain can win ... in fact, I think it's going to be a landslide for #1 Obama/Biden by all current indicators! :gl:

I didn't realize Barney Frank was a republican. Oh, wait, he's not. I didn't realize democrats voted for reforming Fannie and Freddie's oversite over the last several years. Oh, wait, they didn't. Who has been receiving kickbacks from Freddie again? Hmmm, inquiring minds want to know.

You know what? Ur probably right . Dems are part of the messup. THe big question is : WHO WAS PRESIDENT? under whose watch did this happen? THe henchmen don't matter. ITs the boss. THe boss is republican, and as Biden said correctly, in function, he's Bush's sidekick. Thats close to the truth, and its a deadly stigma considering Bush's unpopularity. Republcans are generally being blamed for 2 things Americans don't handle well : loved ones dying(iraq war), and being broke(financial collapse). Its not about the angel Vs the devil. Its about the lesser of 2 evils.

Actually, congress is boss, they determine what bills get passed into law, what get's voted on. The President can make it more difficult by vetoing, but the big boss you are really looking to boot in the hiney is Pelosi, the ramrod for the majority party, along with any members of congress who voted against oversight reform, who are primarily democrats.

I don't think it's quite so personal. McCain is doing a very solid job at pointing out Obama's largest flaw. The company he keeps is starting to add up, Wright, Ayers, ACORN, etc. McCain unfortunately hasn't put together the bigger picture, but I believe this to be a step in the right direction.

It will expose Obama as a clear, left wing nut willing to say anything to anyone to get elected aka another typical politician.

I am saddened to know that folks vote on who can argue better. :/

So what is not true in the video?

Wright? he might've sounded like a racist, but knowing america's racist history, i totally understand why he sai some of the stuff he said. Obama jsut let it go because he doesn't want to alienate many americans. At the end of the day, people think Obama is more honest than McCain is. I think McCain is is either dumb, or a great deceiver. Republicans are even attacking Obama more now because they know he is about to leave them in the dust in terms of this race. Very human though....you always attack others when you're losing...

Barrack HUSSIEN Obama , It just keeps going through my mind, HUSSIEN , I still have worries about that, going to be the United States President and all.

Ok, lets say he does get voted in, I refuse to ride a Camel or Fiddle with Cobra snakes.

Honestly, I can think of plenty of reasons not to vote for either of them.

I wish we had a different choice altogether. That's all I'm going to say.
