Report sales for previously unregistered names

I'm getting a little demotivated in this business and need to hear some stories of people selling previously unregistered names for a profit. I hear a lot about your sales but I'm guessing most of the names sold were acquired through auction or similar.

Is is possible to sell names which were acquired (recently) at reg fee??

ALL sales I've made were names I hand-registered for reg fee. Sales ranging from $150 to $12,000.00. So to answer your question, YES!

Well I registered ArcadeGamesWarehouse.com in August and sold it for $375 last month. It had no history of being registered before.

I spent two days in August searching every possible combination ending with the word Warehouse.com as I had noticed several good Warehouse.com sales at DNjournal.

I also managed to register Panama/HongKong/Singapore/Taiwan/Snooker/YachtWarehouse.com and these are my names I am concentrating on marketing at the moment as I now have confidence in the word Warehouse.

Whois.sc namespinner tool allows you to see available names that were registered before and you can check the history at Archive.org

basically all of mine have been new $9 registrations, just closed 1 at 1k and another a couple months ago at 1.5k and a ton others at $100-$500 each all year long. Definitely still money to be made in new registrations.

Well, I'm not in the same league as these other guys, but ... in the past few weeks I registered 19 domains for about $130 and have already made $170 by selling just 7. My profit so far is $40 plus 12 domains (which I hope to convert to more money soon!). Just today, I registered 12 more, most of which should return at least a few times the reg fee.

Even if you're not selling newly registered domains at $XXX - $XXXX, you can still make meal money.
