Rental websites

Does anyone know if there is any demand for website rental these days. It would be great to know as i am thinking of starting a website rental option in our web design company .. Any input will be appreciated Thanks

now, I wouldn't say rental websites are bad in themselves, there are some good sites that are rented. it's just that when you rent a website, you never actually own anything, if the company decided to move or shut down, they could take your site with them and you couldn't do anything about it.

Rental is great from the perspective of the domain owner but for the end user I doubt it brings in extra 'value'.

I don't see any issues with it, I'd be happy to rent a site as long as I made money from it. It's a far cry from renting a domain name. I'm not really a web developer so if I was to get (rent) a fully developed website, sure, why not rent it, as long as I stay afloat, I'd be happy with the idea.

There is very little demand for Website Rental at all.

Especially from a newly established operation.

Build a portfolio of designs, clients and gain experience first.

BTW the following critical observations and tips may help.

1/ No adult professional calls websites "WEBS". Edit the Kiddy School Slang from your website.
2/ The more correct term is leasing, not rental. See above comment.
3/ Displaying Alexa Ranking in the 25Million range is detrimental to credibility not helpful. Lose the Alexa banner.
4/ Learn Web Design principles before offering website designs.
Your description and layout on KIWINZ site needs to spread across 2 or 3 cols. Edited for grammar, spelling and content errors.
5/ Read and re-read all the threads here at Namepros and other major web design Fora.

I think its a good idea , especially for seasonal sale ( onlineshops )

Its better to rent good online shop for valentines day - for a month before or christmas than spend thousands to sell products only through 8 weeks a year.

Any person can easily purchase and set up new domain and it is a lot easier, cheaper and reliable if they just purchase legitimate links to get traffic instead of just renting..
