You should add a lower category. I'm not sure why you would post a poll and not let anyone post a value of less than $500.... are you telling us the minimum value on the domain?

The extension is useless, but still any super short domain has a market for url shortening, etc IMHO. I feel that it would be in the $xx reseller and low $xxx enduser.

By useless, I mean nobody is going to buy it (except maybe people from Belarus)... no value in the general domain market.

But the question was what it is worth, not what should I sell it for... you need to give everyone all possible price ranges IMHO if you want to get honest opinions. Not that I don't think you could ever sell it for $500 (who knows who might come along), but with that as your minimum you might be holding on to it for years.... good luck!

For comparison, see this community appraisal for the domain i.my - a domain that I think is much better than yours. While I don't agree with the $0 prices, at least some domainers/resellers view it with very low value. I should probably reply to that thread as well, but I think that one could get low - mid $xxx for enduser, while I only see low $xxx enduser for your domain.

.BW is the country code extension used for the African nation of Botswana; Botswana is located in the southern part of Africa and is near South Africa; this makes .BW extensions very valuable.

I guess the further south you go, the more valuable it is. Registration at $299 per year Godaddy doesn't even offer this extension.

Did you really spend $300 on this name?

I don't think this domain has value even as a URL shortener, because there are plenty of alternatives on the market. 1-letter domains are not that rare even in ccTLDs.

Most African ccTLDs are underutilized and have low registrations numbers.
To give you an idea, I sampled the .bw zone last year and there was something like 4000 domains registered. It's not bad by African standards. Eritrea has less than 100 regs I think...
There is no information about the registry. Even the ownership requirements are not clear.

Also, there are not so many .bw registered at the second level.
The most common form is still .co.bw.
Perhaps this will change in the long run.

On the plus side, Botswana is a fairly respectable African state with a long history of democratic rule and political stability.

I think you will struggle to find a buyer, and if there is no buyer how much is the domain really worth ?
PS: have you ever seen just ONE single reported sale for .bw domains ?
And if you must pay $300 per year in renewal fees, that makes the purchase even less interesting. The extension is exotic and expensive to keep.
