From Forbes.com -Researchers at Nippon Telegraph and Telephone (nyse: NTT - news - people ) have developed a method to remotely control the movements of people using a weak electrical current. When a shock is delivered to the mastoid behind one's ear, the body responds by shifting balance toward the anode and if strong enough, it can alter the course of movement. I think that just has more to do with your ears, and when the current goes through, it messes up your equilibrium, and your body compensates by moving you the other direction. It doesn't sound like you could use it to control an arm or a specific motion or anything like that.
